Safe Houses Map & Guide
GTA Vice City introduced the ability to buy safe houses, however GTA San Andreas massively increases the number to choose from.
Purchasing property is a very important task when it comes to overall game completion. Buying all 29 safe houses will earn you 15.51% towards 100% Completion!
You'll need to spend a total of $879,000 to purchase them all, so you best get saving!
Properties which you can purchase are marked on the map with a green house icon.
Purchaseable properties which are not currently available are marked on the map with a red house icon.
Properties which you own will be marked on the map with a save icon.
Safe House Features
Each safe house is automatically displayed on your map when you get close enough to it. All safe houses will contain some or all of the following features.
Save Icon
Walking into the save icon allows you to save your progress.
Wardrobe
Each safe house has a wardrobe where you will find all of Carl's purchased and unlocked clothing. Entering the wardrobe will allow you to change clothes and add or remove accessories.
Photographs
A small selection of houses have some random photographs of girlfriends you will meet throughout the game.
Garage
Some of the more expensive houses also come with a garage. Parking vehicles inside the garage will repair any damage and allow you to save them. Houses with garages are highlighted below.
Saving Extra Vehicles
It's actually possible to squeeze more vehicles into a garage than stated below. You can usually fit at least 4 bikes in any garage or sometimes at least a few cars depending on their size. Be warned, however, that the game can glitch and will eat your cars if they are parked too close together.
To get more vehicles in the garage than allowed, fill up the garage with any vehicles it will let you drive in. Try to park them to the sides of the garage to take up the least room possible.
When you drive up to the door in a new vehicle, it will refuse to open, so get out of your new vehicle, walk up to the garage so the door opens, then quickly jump in your vehicle and drive in.
The door might go a bit mental and try to close repeatedly, but once the car is inside the game will treat it like regular garage cars, repairing any damage and saving it.
