In the early stages of the game, the maximum wanted level is capped at 4 stars, regardless of crimes committed.

By playing the game and performing certain actions, CJ can increase his stats and skills.

Drink and snack machines can be found all over San Andreas. For $1, Carl can recover a small amount of health.

There are lots of enterable supermarkets and shops. Inside, Carl will often find vending machines to recover health and arcade games to play.

All Pay N' Spray garages are open for use. Carl can drive a vehicle in to repair damage, receive a new paint color and lose his wanted level.

Yellow star-shaped collectables can be found hidden around San Andreas. Passing through them will reduce the current wanted level by 1 star.

Enter any bar and walk up to an NPC near the pool table to select a wager and play for prize money.

On some basketball courts, such as those near Grove Street, interacting with the basketball will start a mini-game.

In a variety of places, including inside The Johnson House, bars and supermarkets, there are games consoles or arcade machines which can be interacted with by CJ to play mini-games.

CJ can take part in a dancing mini-game inside dance clubs around San Andreas.

There are three betting shops around San Andreas where CJ can win (or lose) substantial amounts of cash by gambling on horse racing.

Stopping a car next to a prostitute on the street will see Carl offered the chance to have a good time. Accepting and parking up in a secluded area will see Carl receive a service at a cost of around $30.

Carl can enter strip clubs and 'make it rain' with pole dancers, or pay for a private dance by heading past the rope to the back room.

Find an ambulance to start the mission. Carl must pick up injured pedestrians and deliver them to the hospital within a time limit.

Find a police vehicle to start the mission. Carl must chase after criminal vehicles and eliminate the occupants.

Find a firetruck to start the mission. Carl must use the firetruck hose to put out flaming vehicles and pedestrians.

Find a Taxi or Cabbie to start the mission. Carl must pick up and drop off passengers across the city, with a speed bonus available for quick and safe driving.

Find a Broadway to start the mission. Carl must look after two prostitutes and deliver them to their clients.

Use the parked Boxville van across from the Ganton Gym to start the mission between 20:00 and 06:00. Carl must enter houses and steal anything that's not nailed down.

Throughout San Andreas there are 70 stunt jumps to complete. 69 of them can be completed at any time, however one of them cannot be accessed until the mission 'Yay Ka-Boom-Boom' has been completed due to an invisible wall which is removed when the desert and Las Venturas is unlocked.

The gym on Santa Maria beach is open and can be used to increase CJ's stamina, muscle or lose fat.

Dying will see Carl respawn at the nearest Los Santos or Red County hospital.

Being arrested will see Carl respawn at the nearest Los Santos or Red County police station.

All safe houses in Los Santos are available to purchase.

Get on the BMX inside the Los Santos skate park. You must have at least 20% cycling skill.

Get on the parked BMX to start the delivery missions.

Visit the stadium to enter. CJ must have at least 20% driving skill.

You can find a can of spray paint on the roof behind The Johnson House.

Get on the mountain bike at the top of Mount Chiliad to start the race. There are three races to complete, each unlocked after winning the previous one.

Get on the NRG-500 parked at Easter Basin.

Get on the parked Freeway motorbike outside the shop in Hashbury, San Fierro to start the delivery missions.

Visit the stadium to enter.

Find a camera and take photos at specific locations.

Katie can be found on the golf course South of the Gym in San Fierro. If CJ has high enough muscle, she will become his girlfriend, allowing CJ to keep his weapons after death.

Get on the parked Faggio outside the restaurant in Las Venturas to start the delivery missions.

Visit the stadium on a Monday or Wednesday to enter.

Visit the stadium on a Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday or Sunday to enter.

Walk into each horseshoe to collect it.

Barbara can be found outside the police station in El Quebrados in the desert. If CJ has high enough fat, she will become his girlfriend, allowing CJ to keep his weapons after being arrested.

Heading into the casinos in Las Venturas, such as the Four Dragons Casino will allow Carl to gamble on the various games and machines including video poker, blackjack, roulette, slot machines and wheel of fortune.

The tattoo shop in Resdands East, at the North end of the strip in Las Venturas, is actually open from the start of the game, allowing CJ to get fully inked up with gambling themed body art.

There is a garage called Welding & Weddings in Las Venturas which is unlocked from the start of the game. Driving a vehicle inside will fit it with a timer bomb.

Swim into each oyster to collect it. Most require diving under the water.

This allows you to save the game in Los Santos.

Carl can get a hair cut at various hair salons around San Andreas.

Carl can get a variety of body art from the tattoo parlors around San Andreas.

Carl can enter restaurants such as The Well Stacked Pizza Co, Burger Shot and Cluckin' Bell to purchase food.

A spray can is now available from CJ's bedroom in The Johnson House.

Carl can work out daily to increase stamina and muscle, or to lose fat. This also unlocks the gyms in San Fierro and Las Venturas.

Carl can purchase clothes from Binco, ProLaps and Sub Urban.

A Pistol will now spawn in Emmet's yard.

Vehicle mod shops Loco Low Co and TransFender are unlocked around San Andreas.

Carl can compete in the lowrider challenge again at Unity Station.

Her house is just down the road from The Johnson House in Grove Street.

Carl can purchase weapons, body armor and access the gun range.

This will allow Carl to compete in the Pistol, Micro SMG and Shotgun challenges at the Ammu-Nation gun range.

The map will be highlighted with gang colors and enables CJ to take part in gang wars to claim territory for Grove Street. This is only available until the mission 'The Green Sabre'.

The asset will generate up to $10,000 daily based on the number of gang war territories owned. It must be collected manually each day from Grove Street.

CJ is able to freely visit the countryside and San Fierro without receiving a wanted level.

All safe houses in the countryside are now available to purchase.

This allows you to save the game while in Angel Pine.

Until the first mission in Angel Pine, Badlands, is completed, CJ will have a camera with infinite ammo in his inventory.

Helena can be found on the roof of Ammu-Nation in Dillimore in the countryside. If CJ has low muscle, low fat and high sex appeal, she will become his girlfriend, providing some weapons (Chainsaw, Pistol, Flamethrower, Molotov Cocktails) at her farmhouse.

Prior to this mission, the AK-47 challenge is not available from the Ammu-Nation gun range.

Allows CJ to play the final 2 trucking missions which require access to the Desert and Las Venturas.

Prior to this mission, the minigun on top of the red rail bridge between San Fierro and the desert is contained inside an invisible wall, but is now accessible for collection. You'll most likely need a helicopter or jetpack to reach it.

Two button-mashing triathlon races which can be found on the beach in Santa Maria, Los Santos, and at the beach at Fisher's Lagoon, Palomino Creek.

Wait at a train station for the Brown Streak train to stop then get into the drivers seat to start the mission.

Although all unique stunts can be completed from the start of the game, one is blocked off by an invisible wall which is removed after completion of this mission allowing all 70 to be completed from now.

This allows you to save the game while back in Los Santos.

Inside Torino's ranch house you'll find a Flamethrower, Minigun, Rocket Launcher and Homing Missile Launcher.

The jet will spawn in a hangar at the Verdant Meadows Airfield.

The Vortex hovercraft and go-kart will spawn throughout San Andreas.

The map will be highlighted with gang colors and enables CJ to take part in gang wars to claim territory for Grove Street.

Flying in a plane or helicopter for a substantial amount of time will increase the flying skill. Once it hits 20%, CJ is awarded a pilots license which means all airport gates will open for him. This does not grant access to any locked planes or helicopters however.

CJ's max health increases to 150 from 100.

Rewards increase with each level completed, however completing level 12 will ensure Carl has earned $37,500 in total, including a $5,000 bonus.

CJ will take no damage from fire while on-foot.

Rewards increase with each level completed, however completing level 12 will ensure Carl has earned $45,900 in total, including a $5,000 bonus.

CJ's max armor increases to 150 from 100.

After completing level 10, CJ will receive around $30 each time you park up in a secluded area and receive a service from a prostitute.

CJ can sprint, cycle or swim forever without getting tired.

Carl will receive a fixed reward of $3,000, plus additional cash for each item stolen.

Every Taxi and Cabbie in the game will automatically have nitro. It has unlimited uses but must recharge.

Tapping the brake while driving a Tax or Cabbie will activate the hydraulic boost jump.

If Carl delivers at least 5 consecutive passengers, he will receive a $500 bonus. The more consecutive fares, the higher the bonus after every 5 consecutive deliveries. Delivering all 50 fares in a row should reward $27,500 in bonuses.

After completing 2 full levels of freight deliveries.

Carl will receive a fixed reward of $50,000 once both levels have been completed, plus additional bonuses for delivering cargo with at least 20 seconds remaining.

The following weapons will spawn in The Johnson House kitchen: Tec-9, AK-47, Sawed-Off Shotgun, Molotov.

The Grove Street Families gang members will have their weapons upgraded to the SMG, Knife and Desert Eagle.

The following weapons will spawn next to the Doherty garage: Sniper Rifle, Micro SMG, Shotgun, Grenades.

Awarded upon successful capture of the 50th snapshot. Additionally, Carl will also receive $100 when capturing each snapshot.

The following weapons will spawn outside the Four Dragons Casino entrance: MP5, Satchel Charge, M4, Combat Shotgun.

CJ's Luck stat will increase by 20 per horseshoe collected, eventually reaching the maximum of 1000. The luck stat has no effect in the game and doesn't make Carl any more likely to win when gambling.

Awarded upon collection of the 50th horseshoe. Additionally, Carl will also receive $100 when collecting each horseshoe.

Carl's Lung Capacity stat will be increased to the maximum, allowing him to hold is breath for the longest possible time while underwater.

Potential girlfriends will always accept Carl as their boyfriend regardless of his sex appeal, fat or muscle stats. They will never get jealous by seeing him on another date. Any dead girlfriends are revived and can be found at their original spawn location. Every successful date will end with an option for 'coffee'.

Awarded upon collection of the 50th oyster. Additionally, Carl will also receive $100 when collecting each oyster.

Carl will unlock access to Michelle's Monster truck, which can be found parked outside her house at midnight.

Whenever you're arrested, you'll respawn at the police station without losing any of your weapons.

Carl will unlock access to Barbara's police Ranger, which can be found parked outside the police station.

Available from any safe house wardrobe.

Killing Millie while on a date will result in a phone call from Wu Zi Mu, unlocking Millie's house and allowing CJ to pick up her key card for the Casino Heist. Doing this will lose her as a girlfriend and is not recommended.

Carl will receive a phone call from Millie, unlocking her house and allowing CJ to pick up her key card for the Casino Heist.

Carl will unlock access to Millie's pink Club, which can be found parked outside her house.

CJ will still need to reload when the magazine is empty, but his total ammo will never decrease.

Every vehicle drive by CJ will take twice as much damage before it catches fire and explodes.

It will spawn on the roof of Sweet's house. You'll need to climb up to reach it.

It will spawn under the bridge next to Ryder's house.

You will receive double your wager for winning. Max wager is $1,000.

You can find $1,000 cash inside the house while on the mission.

The cash reward is based on the condition of the Jester you deliver.

The cash reward is based on CJ's leaderboard position, which in turn is based on time taken. Faster time, higher position = more cash.
